Mary Guiney – Popular Book Author In Galway, Ireland

Mary Guiney is the renowned author of the book 'Vietnamese Voices'. Born in Ireland, she  has received huge respect and love from the readers for the distinctive subject and touching storyline of the book in which she has described a woman's quest to find a way of living with bipolar disorder and Schizophrenia.

Mary Guiney received a biochemistry degree from the National University of Galway, Ireland, after which she has done MBA in Finance and has earned a Master's degree in Nutrition.

It is worth to know that she was not a born writer. She began her career by working for Samsung Electronics and had also served in JP Morgan in London. Though she was working in the reputed company, Mary Guiney was not satisfied with the work she was doing. It is then she decided to switch the profession to writing.

She is passionate about writing and therefore, described her life's journey through Vietnamese Voices as it is actually an autobiography of Mary Guiney.

Life has never been easy for her. She had never thought in her worst nightmare that a holiday trip to Vietnam will change her life as she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and Schizophrenia. She refused to live in despair and left no stone unturned to find a way to beat her illness. The book successfully presents a true picture of her life's struggles and challenges in an engaging way.

The writing style of Mary Guiney is simple and easy flowing. She expresses herself in a way making it convenient for people of all generations to connect to it. She knows the tactics of inserting the right word at the right place to make the story stand unique and likable.

Apart from writing, she devotes her leisure time by raising voice for women's rights and gender equality. She is a great supporter of feminism and believes it is a high time when men and women should step ahead to provide a safer world for women where they don't hesitate to move around and put their thoughts and opinions.
